We have just finished watching What's Eating Gilbert Grape? I think everyone enjoyed it. Some of the themes that we have been discussing (prejudice, stereotyping, perceptions of beauty, etc.) were very prevalent in this movie. You have done a reflective assignment on it and when you come back from holidays, we will finish this unit. Then we will move on to our media unit and provincial exam prep.
